Women’s Wellness Center Needs This and That

Seattle’s Women’s Wellness Center, which offers health and personal care and clean-up facilities to homeless women, needs donations of some of those crucial personal items most of us take for granted. Most needed are:

• Women’s underwear in all sizes -- especially the larger sizes.
  Bathrobes in all sizes
  Bus Tickets
  Hair dryers - industrial heavy duty
  Styling Brushes
  Hair products (not shampoo, but conditioners, gels, hair spray)
  Hair ties and scrunchies
  Samples of perfume
  Black hair care products
  Deodorant (spray or samples)

Other items needed:

• Backpacks (backpacks are vital when you are homeless. It is tough to move around carrying your items in a plastic bag)
  Feminine products
  Diapers in all sizes
  Pain medication (Advil, Tylenol)
  Hand lotion (the big bottles are OK)
  Sewing kits
  Hand care kits
  Disposable razors
  Tweezers
  Washcloths
  Towels
  Recovery books (AA, NA)
  Infant and childcare books
